There is NO Tiger

A Panic Attack in Verses

Oh my! Is that a tiger in sight?

My body goes into a state of fright! 

My mind tells me I must take flight

I cannot bear to be in this plight.

My muscles tense, my legs tight

I am ready to leap, no matter the height

but I must ask, is my mind really right?

Perhaps that is not a tiger, not quite?

It is perhaps just a cat at night

trying to scare me with all its might?

It gets dimmer as my mind gets bright

I stand my ground as my breath gets light.
